Podcast Name Generator (“we”, “us”, or “our”) runs the free tool at podcastnamegenerator.org. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the site.

  • Show details you submit. When you generate names or SEO details, we send your description and optional fields (tone, format, audience, and related notes) to our servers so the AI can create results.
  • Technical data. Our servers and security controls may see your IP address, browser type, request time, and similar logs needed to run rate limits, stop abuse, and keep the service stable.
  • Guest session token. The browser may store a short-lived guest token in session storage so the site can talk to our API safely. This is not used to identify you across visits after you close the tab.

How we use information

  • Generate podcast name ideas and related SEO suggestions.
  • Check exact-title matches on Apple Podcasts.
  • Protect the service with rate limits, queues, and anti-abuse checks.
  • Improve reliability and fix errors.

AI and third parties

Name generation uses a third-party AI provider. Your prompt text is processed to create results. Apple Podcasts search is used only to check whether an exact title appears in directory results. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies. The site may use session storage for a guest token and basic request flow. You can clear this data anytime in your browser settings.

Retention

We keep server logs and operational data only as long as needed for security, debugging, and service health. Guest tokens expire automatically. We do not require accounts, so we do not maintain user profiles.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us and we will delete it where reasonably possible.

Your choices

You can stop using the tool at any time. You can also clear session storage and avoid submitting personal details in the description fields.
